JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Business Development Manager
The incumbent will be responsible for connecting and engaging with Villas, Apartments, Homestays and premium vacation rentals (alternative accommodation). Incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end account management and driving sustainable performance of the region. The role involves travel to different cities in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis and recommendations based on the industry’s best practices to the partners.
Key Account Manager- Corporate Channel
The role holder will be responsible for tracking performance metrics and maintaining tight control over business KPIs while enhancing category pricing through competitor analysis. They will drive growth plans by collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing demand and traffic data for strategic insights, and working with marketing to execute engagement campaigns. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure supply availability, optimize assortment and pricing, and increase platform conversion through collaboration with product and operations teams, creating interactive data visualizations to support decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Senior Business Development Manager
- The Person will be responsible for connecting and engaging with partners
- End to end account management and driving sustainable performance of the region
- Sourcing out & onboarding new properties
- The role involves travel to different partners in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis and recommendations based on the industry’s best practices to the partners
- Grow net revenue in the market by producing business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensuring inventory levels exceed demand throughout the market, ensuring rate competitiveness across multiple available platforms
Key Account Manager- Corporate Channel
- Effectively tracking performance parameters and keeping a tight control on business KPI numbers
- Deep diving into competitor pricing data and using signals to improve category pricing.
- Collaborating with marketing to devise and execute engagement strategies and campaigns. Collaborating with the supply team to drive availability, assortment, and pricing competitiveness.
- Understanding new markets, trends, and customer behavior, and working with marketing, supply, and product teams to maximize conversions based on those trends.
- Following a stringent action plan and collaborating with the product team to increase platform conversion for the hotels category.
Basic Qualifications:
Senior Business Development Manager
- Masters degree from a reputed institute with 2- 4 years of experience in sales/Travel Trade/ Key Account Management/ Contracting/B2B Sales.
- Experience in handling multiple accounts as a partner is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power-point.
- Strong communication skills, Influencing skills, great interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
- High on energy, team player coupled with a great attitude.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is essential.
Key Account Manager- Corporate Channel
- Post-graduate from a reputable institution with 2-4 years of experience
- Experience of working in a B2B environment and handling large key accounts
- Previous experience in an online product ecosystem would be advantageous
- Data analytics skills in SQL and advanced MS Excel are desirable
- The candidate should possess effective communication abilities, persuasive influence, excellent interpersonal relations, and adept stakeholder management capabilities
